New AMD Ryzen 7 Build

We have just completed a build for a customer of a pc for Photo and Video editing duty’s and a little bit of game playing. This rig differs from most in that the chassis a Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB was one of the dearer components. The customer chose the white model of case to fit his office space.

Inside the chassis we fitted a Corsair 750W RMx Series power supply, an Asus ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING mainboard, EVGA GTX1660 Super 6Gb graphics card, AMD Ryzen 7 5800x cpu cooled by a BeQuiet BK022 Dark Rock Pro 4 heatsink with 2 x 120mm fans, 2 x 16GB 3600Mhz Corsair Vengence RGB ram. Storage is provided by a Samsung 980 Pro M.2 pcie4 1Tb NVME drive and an Adata 2Tb SATA ssd and a 6Tb Seagate Ironwolf Pro hard drive.

The chassis came with 3 x 120mm RGB fans in the front and the Corsair RGB hub and the Corsair Commander Pro RGB and fan controller. The only let down was the chassis didn’t include a RGB rear case fan but did include the std un-lit fan. The performance was as you would expect great and during the install of Windows 10 it did seem to install faster with the Samsung pci Gen 4 nvme drive.

All said this was a great machine that will no trouble with pretty much any task apart from the most demanding of gaming at high resolutions.
